SLO #2. Textual Analysis: Students will be able to do close, careful, and deep reading that is more than simply the ability to understand an argument but the ability to be alert to what is surprising or nuanced about it.
SLO #3. Effective Citizenship: Students will connect theory to contemporary politics while understanding how to take theoretical insights and apply them in real-world contexts, thus moving beyond critique to action. Also, they will demonstrate robust and responsible community engagement.
