The Social Justice Minor uses the University of Minnesota Student Learning Outcomes (as follows):
Students pursuing this minor will take coursework that support the development of their proficiency in:

Learning outcome: Students will develop an understanding of praxis (the process of applying theory to practice) as important in the work of social justice organizations and social change movements. Students who complete the minor will demonstrate that they have engaged in multiple activities (service or action) that demonstrate the thoughtful use of social justice theory to engage in action and that they have incorporated these activities into their learning.
