Students will graduate with strong technical skills in disciplines relevant to land and atmospheric sciences and a broad understanding of 1) associated ecosystems, 2) the interconnectedness of the sciences involved in managing the environment and its resources, and 3) the interplay between these sciences and the social sciences in developing, implementing, and communicating public policies and recommendations related to them.
