Program learning outcomes
When receiving a minor in User Experience, students will have the following skills:
Problem Solving: Can identify, define, and solve problems.
Upon completion of User Experience Minor, students will be able to identify, define, and solve problems individually and as part of a team. Students will utilize research methods as they engage with “users” to create digital products, systems and/or experiences within the discipline of user experience design.
Critical Thinking: Can locate and critically evaluate information
Upon completion of User Experience Minor, students can locate and critically evaluate information from a variety of primary, secondary, and tertiary sources. Utilizing qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Communication: Can communicate effectively.
Upon completion of User Experience Minor, students will communicate effectively through written, visual, and verbal methods. They will present research findings, design concepts, and solutions clearly to diverse audiences, both individually and in team settings.
