College of Education & Human Development (TCED)201 - Bachelor of Science
Program description
The Bachelor of Science degree program in Educational Psychology (BS/EP) is a 47-credit major that centers on the intersection of theory, research, and practice by exploring the cognitive, emotional, and social processes that influence learning and education-related behavior in educational and school settings. Our program will teach students to become leaders and innovators by preparing them to be justice-centered change agents from an anti-racist scientific-practitioner perspective. Our instruction focuses on the history and systems around educational principles and the existing inequities within. In addition, this program serves as a strong foundation for graduate studies in clinical mental health and school counseling, school psychology, special education, research methodologies, educational technologies, artificial intelligence, learning analytics, and learning sciences.
