Program description

The Graduate Minor in Gender, Intersectionality, and Public Policy allows graduate students enrolled at the University of Minnesota to gain expertise and credentials in gender, intersectionality, and public policy analysis. The minor introduces students to foundational concepts for gender policy analysis, provides tools for understanding how policies may contribute to or remedy gender inequalities and their intersections with other forms of structural inequality, and introduces students to the role of gender and intersectionality in the politics of policy formulation. The minor has two tracks, a 9-credit Master's level track and a 12-credit Doctoral Level track.
