Description of other application requirements

Below is a list of required prerequisite coursework applicants must complete to apply to the program. Courses must be taken for college credit and graded A-F with a received minimum letter grade of C. The exception is medical terminology, which will be accepted pass/fail. Courses may be taken at any accredited college or university. Up to two prerequisite courses may be listed as in progress - either currently being taken or planned to take and complete by June 1 of the year of admission. The program will also accept two AP scores of 4 or above or two IB scores of 6 or above to meet prerequisite requirements. It is recommended that these courses be taken within the previous five years.

- A second Biology, with lab
- General Chemistry, with lab
- A second Chemistry, with lab
- Human Anatomy, with lab
- Human Physiology, with lab
- General Physics I (covering mechanics and electricity), with lab
- General Physics II, with lab
- General Psychology
- Abnormal Psychology
- Statistics (ANOVA and regression analysis content strongly recommended)

Distance learning courses are accepted; however, labs must be taken on-site unless prior approval is given by the Admissions Chair.
